FREEDOM LOVE: The Right To Be Wrong, by Reginald A. Craig
FREEDOM LOVE: The Right To Be Wrong, by Reginald A. Craig
The United States Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments of the the US Constitution. We are fortunate to have such a document, but often misinterpreted and abused by citizens into their own liberties. Even God gives us free will, although we choose to stray into indecency.
WHO CONTROLS YOUR GPS:
When you practice your rights is it possible you’re infringing upon someone else? It seems the more freedom is exercised the less considerate people become. Society has trashed social norms and stripped safety of sanctuary. Much of the demise has been at the blame of political correctness. Basic home training in a nuclear family was once supported by caring neighbors, education institutions and religious teachings. In God We Trust is not just printed on money but valued by believers in preyer for health, prosperity and forgiveness. In modern times the denial of God’s existence has become increasingly popular. The world today is experiencing a major complex who or where to receive guidance. Political powers are dividing voters to cast revenge instead of comprehending a well studied ballot. Science is rapidly becoming the new religion, while Agnosticism has quietly groomed a path of least resistance not to offend. All of these theatrics and more are causing unsettling ideas of what the new standards ought to be.
I understand the old way wasn’t perfect and often excluded opportunities to the likeness of myself. Leadership was the hope regardless of struggles for the less fortunate. If only from day one “The Land of the Free and The Home of the Brave” would’ve invited all walks of life without prejudice to partake in the America Dream, sustainability would’ve been achieved. It’s no doubt that hard work and dedication is required from all to succeed. In my opinion the biggest misstep of our Founding Fathers was allowing minorities to be devalued into second class citizens. Yes, much in law has been adjusted since 1776, but still today the mindset of many have yet to adapt. Please don’t get me wrong, America truly has beauty in abundance and thankfully new innovative ways for all to soar. However the powers that be thrive on a disgruntled population to effectively encrypt communication of where flights to destiny depart. We are all overwhelmed by propaganda in the form of pop culture intended to exploit our insecurities. Unfortunately all of these smokescreens are in accordance with the law, but to see through the darkness we must persist that ethics will prevail.
SEE ME SEE YOU:
Abuse of Freedom in the United States has been the example promoted worldwide infecting civilizations and destabilizing nations. It is true that our least flattering characteristics has been exaggerated by foreign rivals to depict an unstable society, but the false impression of freedom has already enticed countries under dictatorship and even mimicked in the 3rd World. Conflict from war and the persecution of people has always been a threat in the most remote locations, however tradition was always their strongest quality. Today places where time once stood still are now losing their language, identity and peace amongst one another.
What you’re finding now is an increase of home grown terror because our country is not the version grandfathers taught their children. Many young adults from flyoverland practice traditional values and enlist in the service in honor for God and Country. When proud service members return home it’s a real gut check to witness controversy over leadership and patriotism. Much of the debacle is fueled by the media inaccurately reporting the sentiments of the people. The iconic white picket fence with peace amongst neighbors is noisy today with voices from black and brown people rightfully demanding equality. Compassion for all humanity must be the priority when risking the ultimate sacrifice. Serve and protect the rights of your fellow citizens regardless of their ethnicity or cultural differences.
FEAR FUELS PARTISANSHIP:
The uproar that cycles with each tragic shooting becomes a media race for network ratings that consequently spikes gun sales after each event. Public safety is endangered not only by the violence but how it is handled and the way we respond. Our positions to blame the NRA and Gun Control is as predictable as the sunrise. We need to make changes where most effective, and it starts with mathematics. What you see happening in these mass shootings are the end results from failure to address preventable loss of life. If we transfer our energy away from political rhetoric into correctable behavior, we’ll prove to each other that life is valuable. In today’s climate it’s difficult for some to grasp the harm caused in these moments of violence because so many lives are lost daily from frivolous circumstances. We’re not placing enough emphasis on correctable behavior that can save lives and provide examples of life preservation. Death becomes too often at the hands of foolishness, with texting while driving being the easiest to correct. We lose more youth to drug overdose and suicide on a weekly basis than any one mass shooting ever totaled. We have to promote the value of life to get billionaires attention that the ninety eight / ninety nine percenters do care. The arguments are pointless and only benefits political parties and the gun industry. We need to recognize that our tragedies are being exploited and the manipulation is jeopardizing the morale as citizens of the US. According to the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, guns aren’t going away. Therefore learning how to safely handle a firearm is equally important as improving mental health.
